Cookie policy

Last updated: 27 July 2026

The short version

Our marketing website sets no cookies whatsoever. The client portal sets exactly one, which keeps you logged in. We use no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

What a cookie is

A small file a website asks your browser to store, so it can recognise you on your next request. Cookies get a bad reputation because of how advertising networks use them to follow people between sites. That is not what happens here.

leaderstamp.com

The marketing site sets no cookies and uses no local storage. There is no analytics tool, no advertising pixel, and no third party script running on the page.

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers receive your IP address as part of that request. Google state they do not use it to build advertising profiles. If you would rather avoid it entirely, most content blockers stop it.

portal.leaderstamp.com

The portal sets one cookie.

NameWhat it doesHow long
ls_portalKeeps you logged in as you move between pages. Holds a random identifier only, no personal data.Deleted when you close the browser

It is marked HttpOnly so scripts cannot read it, Secure so it only travels over HTTPS, and SameSite so other websites cannot make your browser send it.

Why there is no consent banner

Under the EU ePrivacy rules and the GDPR, consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary: analytics, advertising, personalisation. Cookies that a service genuinely cannot work without are exempt.

The only cookie here is the one that keeps you logged in, and a portal that cannot keep you logged in is not a portal. So no banner is needed, and adding one would be theatre rather than protection.

If we ever add analytics, we will add a proper consent banner at the same time and update this page.

Turning cookies off

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking the portal cookie means you will not be able to stay logged in. Blocking cookies on the marketing site has no effect, because there are none.

Local storage

Neither site stores anything in your browser's local storage.
